INGREDIENTS (Serves 2)
- 1 pouch Rootzz of Nature Jackfruit Rendang (325g)
- 200gr basmati rice
- 50ml coconut milk
- 200gr haricots verts
- 1tsp sambal oelek
- 1tbsp sriracha sauce
- ½ red pepper
- Spring onion
- Sunflower oil
PREPARATION (15 min)
Bring a pan of water to the boil. Then add the basmati rice. Cook the basmati rice for 8 to 10 minutes.
Bring another pan of water to the boil for the haricots verts. Cook them for about 4 minutes until they are firm to the bite.
Fill a pan with the Rootzz of Nature Jackfruit Rendang and add the coconut milk. Heat the mixture over low heat.
In the meantime, bake the haricot verts in a frying pan with sunflower oil. Season the haricots verts with sambal, sriracha sauce and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Finally, the garnish. Chop the red pepper and spring onion and sprinkle the vegetables over the rendang. Serve the rendang with the basmati rice.
