Smokey Jackfruit burger with baked potatoes

INGREDIENTS (Serves 2 persons)

  • 10 Rootzz of Nature jackfruit balls
  • A pinch of oregano
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Fresh parsley
  • 500 ml sieved tomatoes
  • 2 shallots
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • Pepper and salt
  • ½ red pepper
  • 150 gr rice
  • oil


StEp 1

Heat a bit of oil in a pan. Add the jackfruit balls and fry them over medium heat until they are turning brown. This takes about 3-4 minutes.

StEp 2

Heat a bit of oil in another pan and fry the chopped shallots. Add the garlic in small pieces and the red pepper to taste. Sauté for a few minutes and then add the sieved tomatoes. Season the sauce with oregano, sugar, pepper and salt. Finally, add some fresh parsley. Then add the meatballs to the sauce and stir well.
